Meet Eric Pulier, the Founder of more than 15 Companies

Eric Pulier is the co-founder, Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of ServiceMesh. He is an entrepreneur, author, columnist, public speaker, and technologist. He has co-founded and founded more than 15 companies.

Eric was born and raised in Teaneck, New Jersey. He started his programming career back in the 4th grade. During his high school years, he had already launched a computer database company. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Mr. Pulier went to the Harvard University where he took English and American literature studies. He also took classes at a neighboring school called MIT. Eric graduated in 1988 with a BA magna cum laude (with high honor).

Eric Pulier relocated to Los Angeles in 1991. He founded his second company PDT (People Doing Things). PDT is a corporation that deals with education, health care, and other similar issues. In 1994, Pulier started Digital Evolution. In 1998 Digital Evolution merged with the US Interactive LLC. He also was behind the effort to create Starbright World. Starbright World is a social network meant to connect chronically ill children.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee in 1997 chose Eric Pulier to build and effect the Presidential Exhibition in the Capital D.C. After his work with The Bridge to the 21st Century, he was called upon to participate in Vice President Al Gore’s technology and health care forums. He was resourceful in the technology and healthcare initiatives.Eric is also the founder of several other projects. He has founded companies like Desktone, Akana, and Media Platform among much more. He helped write Understanding Enterprise; this is a service oriented architecture.

Pulier has used his knowledge and money to support nonprofit companies. Most of the companies he has founded aimed at helping the disadvantaged members of our society in the United States and the globe as a whole. In 2010, he contributed a lot at The Doctors for Africa subsidy event in New York. The country honors Eric for his technical works for the African health care. He also donates financially to organizations like Campaign for Free College Tuition, XPRIZE Foundation. He is on the board of XPRIZE and the Painted Turtle teams.
